Upon the successful completion of the program, you will earn a Wine Scholar Guild Spanish Wine Essentials Certification and join a world-class network of wine professionals. The Spanish Wine Essentials Course enables students to: • Learn about the most important “need to know” wines of Spain and how they relate to local landmarks, culture and cuisine • Recall the essential grape varieties and major wine regions of Spain • Navigate seemingly complicated Spanish wine classification systems • Be perfectly poised to continue their studies with the prestigious Spanish Wine Scholar® certification program What's included in the program: • 7 hours of interactive, in-person learning experience • The Spanish Wine Essentials 95-page study manual • Guided tasting of 12 diverse wines from across Spain • Lunch, unlimited premium coffee, espresso, tea, still and sparkling water, and Lindt chocolate • 50 multiple-choice examination at the end of the course without a tasting component Spanish Wine Essentials In-Person Course Dates & Times: • Saturday, 1 February 2025: 10:00 am - 5:30 pm • Examination (IN-PERSON): Saturday, 8 February 2025: 10:00 am - 10:45 am Please note: If you cannot attend the In-Person examination at the designated date/time, please inform us when you register for the course, and we can attempt to find a solution. For whatever reason, if you cannot attend the examination after the start of the course, we must charge a Wine Scholar Guild Exam Rescheduling Fee.
