Take your knowledge and expertise as a wine enthusiast or wine industry professional to the next level with the WSET Level 2 Intermediate Course in Wines (#W2008), a comprehensive program over 4 Saturdays that provides hands-on training to deepen your wine knowledge and connect you with the Zürich wine community. You’ll learn about the world's principal and regionally important grapes, the regions where they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. WSET Level 2 is perfect for: • Wine Enthusiasts and wine industry professionals seeking to build upon an intermediate wine experience level What you'll learn: • How to taste and describe wine using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT) • How environmental factors, grape-growing, and winemaking options influence wines • How grape varieties and winemaking processes affect sparkling and fortified wines • Key labeling terms to indicate origin, style, and quality • Proper storage and service of wine • Food and wine pairing principles Registration includes: • 21 hours of world-class classroom instruction and the guided tasting of 43 quality wines • All exam fees, framable WSET certificate, and lapel pin upon successful course completion • All course materials • Lunch from Joe & the Juice is included each day!
