The Italian Wine Essentials Course enables students to: • Learn about the most important “need to know” wines of Italy and how they relate to local landmarks, culture and cuisine • Recall the essential grape varieties and major wine regions of Italy • Navigate seemingly complicated Italian wine classification systems • Be perfectly poised to continue their studies with the prestigious Italian Wine Scholar® certification program What's included in the program: • 7 hours of interactive, in-person learning experience • The Italian Wine Essentials 125-page study manual • Guided tasting of 12 high-quality wines from across Italy • Unlimited premium coffee, espresso, tea, still and sparkling water, and Lindt chocolate • 50 multiple-choice examination (wine no tasting component) Italian Wine Essentials In-Person Course Dates & Times: • Thursday, 30 January 2025: 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm • Friday, 31 January 2025: 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm • Examination (IN-PERSON): Friday, 7 February 2025: 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm Please note: If you cannot attend the In-Person examination at the designated date/time, please inform us when you register for the course, and we can attempt to find a solution. For whatever reason, if you cannot attend the examination after the start of the course, we must charge a CHF 100 WSG Exam Rescheduling Fee. Exam Resits are CHF 100.
